MemoLingua app for iPhone and iPad

Memolingua is an educational game designed by the Goethe-Institut for vocabulary training.

The object of each round is to find two cards with the same motif. Turn any two cards face up, one at a time. If the motifs don’t match, the cards will be flipped over again. If they do match, its worth a point. Every pair you find activates a card from the next level. Cards of different levels have different coloured backs. Pairs can only be formed using cards of the same level. The game is over when there are no cards left on the board.

You get one point for each correct pair, plus a bonus multiplier if you find two or more pairs in a row (x2 for two pairs in a row, x3 for three pairs etc.). If you finish extra fast, you’ll get an extra time bonus as well at the end of the game. Your highest score will automatically be saved to the highscore list.

On the start page you can choose to see the vocabulary on each card only in German or in both German and English, German and Spanish or German and Portuguese.
